From Rodeo Grounds to Connected Grounds:
LATYS at Rodeo Pont-Château

LATYS teamed up with Axsera Inc. to bring powerful, reliable wireless connectivity to Agroparc Pont-Château for the annual Rodeo Pont-Château in Coteau-du-Lac.

The challenge?

Cover a massive outdoor space with thousands of attendees and vendors — all expecting seamless Wi-Fi in a bustling, open-air environment.

From July 17 to 20, our solution went live. With just two LATYS FOCUS units, we delivered coverage across more than 10,000 m² (2.5 acres). Over 10,000 participants and vendors stayed connected without interruption, whether they were streaming, sharing, or running point-of-sale systems.

The results spoke for themselves:

  • Up to 2× signal strength on the 5 GHz band (29.4% of the area experienced at least double the RSSI)

  • Consistent, reliable Wi-Fi even with high crowd density and open-air conditions

The deployment proved that LATYS plug-and-play technology can do more than connect — it can transform rural and event environments into fully connected spaces. For smart agriculture initiatives and large-scale gatherings, this marks another big step toward building the future of connected infrastructure.
