LATYS FOCUS is a WiFi multiplier designed to enhance WiFi signals. It captures a WiFi signal from a source, amplifies it by 12 dBi instantly without adding any latency, and then retransmits the boosted signal to a receiving device. This process works both ways, ensuring strong connectivity.

The LATYS FOCUS TFR-1040 family of products are portable, 
zero-latency, and rugged solution engineered for mining environments, enabling reliable 90° directional changes in tight or complex layouts. Designed for both underground and above-ground applications, it ensures efficient routing while withstanding harsh operating conditions.

Available models include:
- TFR-1040-M, which amplifies any 5GHz wireless signal by 12 dBi instantly without added latency before retransmitting the boosted signal to a receiving device

- TFR-1040-M90, which combines a 90-degree bend with the same 12 dBi amplification and zero-latency retransmission for deployments requiring directional routing in confined or complex spaces.

    The FOCUS is highly energy efficient, both at the manufacturing level and in daily operations. The device is up to 1/8th the size of market leading APs. During usage, the LATYS FOCUS consumes 1/8th the power of market leading APs.

    Our non-reciprocal design and network philosophy allow us to avoid many pitfalls of traditional network solutions. Networks employing the FOCUS can significantly reduce noise and interference.

  • Protocol Independence

    Currently, the FOCUS is optimized for a common use case: Wi-Fi. But there is nothing hard coded about this solution. The FOCUS is essentially protocol independent, and can operate with other RF signals such as 4G and 5G.
